We’re looking for:

Writers
If you are an experienced journalist who can contribute to globorati on a regular, freelance basis. You must have experience with writing news or shortform journalism — since you’ll need to deliver copy that is concise, accurately researched and stamped with an insider’s voice. You don’t have to be a “travel writer” to apply, but you should have a passion for global news, travel, trends and cultures.

• you are unable to send any links to or attachments of your professional writing samples. (We need to see published news-centered journalism clips — not personal blog entries or lyrical travel essays.)

• you feel you have an “affinity” for luxury travel and are looking to hopscotch around the world on a free ticket.

Interns
We are looking for sharp, industrious interns who can dedicate 20 hours a week to be a part of the globorati team. Candidates must be available to work in Manhattan, and should clearly mark their applications as either “editorial” or “publishing.”

Editorial internships available now:
Candidates will work on story sourcing, photo research, online production and some writing duties.

Publishing internships are available now.
Candidates will work alongside globorati’s publisher to help drive the company’s marketing, PR outreach and business development.

The ideal candidates for both positions should be highly detail-oriented, with a passion for travel and an understanding of online publishing. Successful applicants will gain a solid working knowledge of the entire editorial and publishing process, in addition to a special insight into the luxury travel sector.
